Rich City Day is back for its third year! Join us on Saturday, June 7, as we take over the block to celebrate everything that makes Richmond the greatest city in the Bay. We’re bringing together some of our favorite local food vendors, artists, musicians, and community organizations for an afternoon packed with good eats, live music, and hometown pride. We’ll be pouring fresh pints of Rich City Pils and raising a glass to the city we love. Entry is free, the party runs from 2–8 PM, and everyone’s invited—just keep your pups on a leash and bring a cotton shirt if you want to get in on free screen printing between 2–4 PM. Let’s show the Bay how Rich City does it.
The Rich City Market
This year’s Maker’s Market is bigger and better than ever! We’re filling the parking lot with over a dozen Richmond-based vendors, offering everything from collectibles to handcrafted goods—even custom guitars. Plus, our friends from Jelly’s Place will be popping up with an adoption tent, so you might just find your next four-legged family member. Come shop, support local makers, and celebrate all the creativity and heart that makes Rich City shine.
Local Food Vendors
We’re bringing the flavor this year with two absolute heavy-hitters from right here in Richmond. First up is Curbside Kitchen, the beloved food truck launched by Richmond natives Russel and Ray. They’ll be slinging their fan-favorite burgers, but do not sleep on the “Sidewalk” loaded fries: crispy shoestring fries tossed in spiced tamarind seasoning, stacked with tocino (Filipino bacon), melted cheese, specialty house aioli, green onion, and cilantro. It’s a problem—in the best way.
And of course, El Garage is back! One of our favorite collaborators, this now-legendary crew started out in an actual garage in Richmond and now serves up the best quesabirria in the Bay. Feeling bold? Try the birria grilled cheese. You’ll thank us later.
Family and Dog Friendly
Rich City Day is all about community, and that means creating a space where everyone—big, small, two-legged, and four—is welcome. Bring the whole family and make a day of it! We’ll have classic lawn games like cornhole set up for friendly competition, and inside the taproom, our pinball machines will be ready to play. Kids are welcome, and so are dogs—just make sure your pups stay on a leash. If you’re already a proud dog parent or thinking about becoming one, be sure to swing by Jelly’s Place’s adoption pop-up. They’ll be onsite with some very good boys and girls looking for their forever homes. Whether you’re tossing bean bags, chasing high scores, or falling in love with your future best friend, there’s something for everyone at Rich City Day.
Free Screen Printing
Not only is Rich City Day totally free to attend, but we’re also hooking you up with FREE screen printing from 2pm to 4pm! Bring your own gear—shirts, sweatshirts, totes, whatever—as long as it’s 100% cotton (trust us, it prints best) and not too pilly. We’ll be screen printing our Rich City Day logo on-site, totally free of charge. There is a limit of two items per person, and we ask that you don’t bring extras for friends—we want to make sure there’s enough time and love for everyone. Drop your items off between 2pm and 4pm, and you can swing by to pick them up the next day. It’s a fun way to turn your old threads into fresh, hyper-local keepsakes!
