Armistice Brewing Company: Private Event Rental Agreement

This Rental Agreement is made and entered into between Armistice Brewing Company, LLC and the renter ("renter"). The renter desires to rent the stipulated space(s) on the terms and conditions set forth herein.

1. FINANCIAL TERMS

Total Booking Payment: 100% of the Space Fee and the 20% Booking Fee is collected at the time of reservation to secure the date.

Booking Fee: A 20% booking fee applies to all space fees.

Sales Tax: Sales tax is only applied to the booking fee.

On-Site Costs: Any food and beverage minimums, additional drink tabs, and a 20% gratuity on the final beverage and food total will be collected by staff at the conclusion of the event.

Prorating: All rental periods are billed in full hour increments; no prorating is available for partial hours.

2. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Full Refund: Bookings are 100% refundable if the event is canceled at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date.

Partial Refund: Bookings are 50% refundable if the event is canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled date.

Requirement: All cancellations or changes of date must be submitted in writing.

Uncontrollable Circumstances: Armistice Brewing Company is not liable for canceled events due to uncontrollable circumstances, including, but not limited to, weather, labor issues,

3. USE OF PROPERTY

Time Limits: Use of the space is available only during the stipulated time; the quoted rate includes set-up and strike of the event.

Decorations: All decorations must be approved by management. No tape, nails, or staples may be used on building surfaces. No tape of any kind is allowed on wood.

Cleaning: Renters are responsible for set up, take down, and final cleanup of the space. Failure to properly dispose of smoking-related garbage will result in a $300 cleaning fee.

4. POLICIES & CONDUCT

Alcohol: Only beer, wine, cider, and kombucha are allowed on-site per California ABC regulations. If hard liquor or cannabis products are found in the possession of or consumed by guests, the event will be canceled immediately with no refund.

Conduct: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for excessive drinking, noise, or behavior not in keeping with the culture of our establishment.

Age Requirement: The legal drinking age in the state of California is 21 years old.

Pets: Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome.

Smoking: No smoking is allowed inside the building or within 100 feet of the building.

5. LIABILITY & SEVERABILITY

Responsibility: The renter understands that they are responsible and liable for any costs associated with the event and may be held liable for any property or personal damage that occurs during or as a result of the event.

Severability: If any portion of this agreement is considered invalid under the rule of law, that portion shall be regarded as stricken while the remainder of this agreement continues in full effect.
